Community Partners Fundraising Program presentation at Greater Nevada Field

Supporting Our Communities at the Field

The Aces can’t succeed without the support of fans across northern Nevada, and that’s why we’re proud to partner with them to help reciprocate the love throughout the season. Learn more below about how nonprofits, schools, and other organizations can raise money for their causes, how we’re highlighting the heroes that serve our communities, and how we’re supporting Special Olympic athletes in the Silver State.

GNCU’s Community Fundraising Program empowers local nonprofits to raise money and awareness by calling on two of northern Nevada’s crown jewels: a local iconic venue – Greater Nevada Field – and the championship baseball club that calls it home – the Reno Aces.

How does it work? It’s simple. Participating nonprofits, schools, youth sports leagues, and religious centers sell Aces tickets and keep a portion of the proceeds. Top fundraisers are also eligible to win exciting prizes and promotional opportunities in front of a crowd at Greater Nevada Field.

In 2024, a total of $123,000 was raised for local organizations!

The Community Partners Fundraising Program levels the playing field for nonprofits who otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity to tell their story and build a fanbase of their own. It brings the community together. It helps more people Live Greater.

Community Heroes Special Offers

We teamed up with the Aces again to promote stealing for a good cause through GNCU’s Steals for Special Olympics Nevada (SONV)! Every time an Aces player successfully steals a base, GNCU makes a $250 donation to benefit SONV.

SONV provides training, athletic competitions, and education to adults and children with intellectual disabilities, allowing everyone the chance to shine across the Silver State.

In the 2024 season, Aces players snagged 27 bases, so we donated $6,750 as part of our $10,000 total commitment to these incredible athletes for the year!
