Why Greater Nevada Credit Union?

In the past, loan applications were time-consuming and only allowed to happen in-person at a branch. While we cherish our longstanding history since being established in 1949, embracing the convenience of being able to apply online for a new loan was a key priority for us.

Applying for loans online is easy and convenient, and most of our loan offers are eligible for online applications. From auto loans to personal loans, we can process most applications without asking you to visit a branch (some exceptions may apply and depend on individual circumstances).

Online Loan Application Process

Applying online is simple and straightforward. Just remember: just as no two applicants are the same, no two loans will have the exact same loan rates. Rates will vary by situation as they are informed by the loan need and amount requested, and by your personal details–credit score, credit history, and income, for example.

2. Check Your Credit Score

Your credit score and credit history are considerable factors when it comes to getting approved for a loan and determining the qualified interest rate. However, they’re not the only factors–especially when you’re a member of our credit union. Interested to see where you stand with your credit report? Members can take advantage of our free My Credit Health feature within Digital Banking offering a powerful one-stop-shop to access your credit score, credit monitoring, credit score simulator, financial tips, and more. Depending on your needs, you may find that several loans fit the bill. If that’s the case, it’s well worth your time to compare different rates, terms, and other details before you decide on a particular loan.

4. Is a Credit Union Right for You?

5. Meet Membership Requirements

As long as you can meet Greater Nevada’s membership requirements of living or working in any of Nevada’s 17 counties, or you have an immediate family member who does, then you can apply for an online loan without being a member. You’ll then join the credit union as a new member if you are approved for your new loan. It’s a win-win proposition.
