Safe Deposit Boxes
Need a Place to Store Your Important Documents and Valuables?
You can keep your meaningful items and special treasures safe and secure in a Safe Deposit Box. In the event of a home emergency like a fire or flood, you can have the peace of mind that whatever it is you or your family needs to protect, is safe and secure.
Common items kept in a Safe Deposit Box:
- Family heirlooms and fine jewelry.
- Insurance policies and photo records, vehicle titles, deeds, stock certificates, last will, and testament.
- Family records like birth certificates, social security cards, marriage, and death certificates.
Safe Deposit Boxes are available at our Eagle Station, Spanish Springs, Minden, and Dayton branches. Boxes start at a low cost of $25 per year with a $15 key deposit that is refundable upon receipt of both keys. Multiple sizes are available ranging from 2″ x 5″ up to 15″ x 10″. Sizes and pricing vary by location.
Simply swing by one of the four branches and any Member Service Representative will be happy to help set up your box. Appointments are not necessary. For questions or more information, you can call our Member Resource Center at (775) 882-2060 or (800) 421-6674.
1 You must be a member of the credit union to lease a Safe Deposit Box. Rent payments must be set up for automatic withdrawal from a GNCU account as we do not invoice Safe Deposit Box rentals. A Safe Deposit Box does not qualify as a deposit product and will not count towards waiving the Single Service Fee on a Regular Share Savings account.
