Greater Nevada Credit Union Membership Application
Congratulations! You're taking the first step to joining Greater Nevada. Before you begin to complete the Membership Application, here are a few things you need to know:
This application should take less than five minutes to complete.
USA PATRIOT Act - Customer Identification Program Notification: Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account, in order to help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities.
What this means for you: When you open an account, we ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that allows us to identify you. We will also ask to see your driver's license or other government-issued identifying documents.
Please have the following information handy: valid driver's license or state identification number, mother's maiden name, Social Security Number (SSN) or other government-issued documents for you and any joint owners or co-borrowers on the account, and name, address, and SSN for any account beneficiaries.
Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements for membership in Greater Nevada Credit Union.
Account opening subject to verification by ChexSystems, a consumer reporting agency; other third party verification services; and Credit Union approval.
If you're applying for a Greater Nevada membership:
There is a $5 one-time membership fee.
A regular share savings account is required with a minimum deposit of $25.*
You will also have the option of opening a checking, an additional savings, money market, or certificate account.
Please print and fill out the membership application. Then return it to us by visiting any branch. Be sure to bring along your identification and opening deposit. Our staff will quickly verify your identification and open your account.
Your account will be activated and your ATM/Debit card and checks (if applicable) will be ordered once we receive your signed signature card and a copy of your valid Driver's License/State ID.

If you're applying for Greater Nevada membership and a loan at the same time:
Please note that the same form used for your membership application is also used as your loan application. Simply provide the information pertinent to the type and amount of loan you are seeking on that form. There is a $10 loan application fee.

* This account may be subject to a monthly service fee. In order to avoid the service fee, your balance must be $200 or over, you must have direct deposit, you must have two or more accounts or you must be a part of the Senior Privilege program.
