Greater Nevada may be able to help through the many plans available under our Member Assistance Program* including:
- Credit Counseling - All members have access to the
free services of a Greater Nevada certified credit counselor.
Our counselor can meet with you privately at one of our branch locations and can assist you with a variety of topics including:
- Loan Repayment Plans - including extensions and payment reductions
- Debt Consolidation Plans
- Budget Planning
- Credit Bureau Disputes and More
Additionally, HUD is now making credit counseling available to help homeowner's stay in their homes. For more information on HUD counseling,

- Payment Deferment - If you are experiencing a temporary financial hardship we may be able to temporarily
defer one of your payments. A financial hardship generally results from:
- Catastrophic illness
- Sudden change in employment or income
- Death in the family
- An unexpected or extreme financial expense
- Consumer Loan Modifications - If you are experiencing a hardship we may also be able to help you qualify
for a Short Term or Long Term Consumer Loan Modification with the ultimate objective of lowering your payments.
