Information on keeping your sensitive information safe
Greater Nevada would like to remind you to carefully safeguard your personal and financial information at all times.
Many criminals pose as legitimate financial institutions to gain access to members' account numbers and other information. These "phishing" attempts have become increasingly common and increasingly sophisticated.
Please remember that Greater Nevada Credit Union will never ask for your personal or financial information by email. If you receive an email directing you to call a customer service number, check our web site at gncu.org to make sure the number is listed on our web site and is a legitimate customer service number. Never give personal information to anyone who calls you or emails you requesting it, and never access our web site using a link in an email.
Please be aware of this current phishing scam.

If you ever receive this type of request from someone who appears to represent Greater Nevada Credit Union, please report it immediately. If you feel you may have already become a victim of a scam, please contact the Federal Trade Commission at (877) FTC-HELP or www.ftc.gov, as well as the Nevada State Treasurer's Office at (775) 684-5600.
